Business improvement grants are available to all up to date BID levy payers and 20 applications have been approved since the programme was first introduced. The aim of the scheme is to:
- Improve the overall appeal and appearance of businesses and the town
- Enhance the customer experience and reputation of Crieff as a place to visit
- Boost trade
- Contribute to the development of staff skills
Every year a sum is allocated for this purpose, £10,000 was allocated between 1 September 2017 and 31 August 2018.
A maximum grant value of £1,500 is available and must not exceed 50% of the total cost.
No business will be awarded more than one grant in any one financial year.
The BID Board of Directors will be responsible for deciding which applications are successful.
