Scotland’s Only Pop-Up Santa’s Post Office

This time last year Crieff was being held up as a shining example of how success can be achieved when businesses and the community come together to promote and attract visitors to their town. Buoyed by a Facebook post, seen by over 150,000 people, from actor Ewan McGregor praising the event, Scotland’s only Santa’s Post Office opened its doors in Crieff town centre and within weeks more than 10,000 people had visited, posting letters to Santa, and chatting to Mrs Claus and her hard working elves!

This year though things are a little bit different and Santa’s elves have had to work hard to make sure that children can still post their letters to him at the North Pole. The result is that Scotland’s only pop up Santa’s Post Office will be open in Crieff throughout December and will be sited at the Crieff Old Town Hall in Crieff High Street. Children can pick up their special Santa letters from businesses throughout the town, or simply write them on their own paper, and once written to Santa they can come along to the pop up Post Office and Santa’selves will make sure that, once posted, the children’s letters will make their way speedily via the polar express all the way to the North Pole and well in time for the magic day.
