Summer Markets Return
The first of Crieff’s summer markets is this coming Saturday –10.00am – 5.00pm in James Square
The markets are on a not-for-profit social enterprise basis and all monies received from the hire of the stalls goes to Crieff’s Christmas Lights and the great Lights switch-on.
Now.
We know that the markets are an attraction and draw visitors and shoppers to the Square. We also know that markets don’t suit all businesses.
There are, however, simple things you can do to take advantage of the increased footfall in the Square to encourage visitors to come and shop with you:
Hand out fliers
Display banners and signs at the market
Offer promotions and samples
Use follow up offers
Offer discounts for future weeks
The list is endless.
You could even take a stall. There a few spaces still available – contact John Gauld via email chair@crieffatchristmas.co.uk.
We have fantastic shops offering superb products and service and our restaurants are second to none. If we can get visitors to Crieff, then we just need to give them a small helping hand to visit our businesses.
